Rosamond S. King is an Associate Professor in the English Department of Brooklyn College, part of the City University of New York. and coeditor of Theorizing Homophobias in the Caribbean: Complexities of Place, Desire, and Belonging.

King is a critical and creative writer and performer whose scholarly work focuses on literature, sexuality and performance. Her book Island Bodies: Transgressive Sexualities in the Caribbean Imagination received the 2015 Caribbean Studies Association best book award. King’s poetry has been published in over two dozen journals and anthologies, and her performance art has been curated around the world, from Montreal, to Puerto Rico, to Zimbabwe.
