Sera Latterell

Sera Latterell is a self-taught artist inspired by children’s literature and storytelling. Creating art for the young and the young at heart fuels her passion.

Sera began her artistic journey as a child, drawing on the walls of her parents’ home with anything that would produce color. Over time, she learned to work with colored pencils, gouache, and watercolor, but she currently creates most of her illustrations digitally.

Her work often features children or animals rendered in soft colors. She enjoys exploring themes related to storytelling, cultural diversity, family, friendship, travel, nature, and learning.

In her free time, Sera enjoys teaching her children, gardening, learning new things, and listening to podcasts.
