Tamkara Adun is a Nigerian author, researcher, and indigenous African Historian.

She is the mum of two teenagers and has a strong passion for decolonizing history.

She is the founder of Ọdúnìfẹ́ African history and African language school. This is an educational platform aimed at decolonizing and centering the teaching of African history and connecting learners of African languages with qualified language tutors based on the continent.

Tamkara holds a Bachelors degree in Languages and Literature from the University of Port Harcourt, a postgraduate degree in Human Resources from the University of London, and a Masters in Business Administration ( MBA) from the Rotterdam School of Management, Netherlands

She is the author of the Children’s book Osasu & the Great Wall of the Benin Empire and other Digital books on African history.

Tamkara conducts research and hosts storytelling sessions and workshops on African decolonized African history for the benefit of schools, organizations, and educational institutions.
