Thomas Sayers Ellis

Thomas Sayers Ellis is a poet and photographer.

In 1988 he co-founded the Dark Room Collective in Cambridge, Massachusetts, an organization that celebrated and gave greater visibility to emerging and established writers of color.

Ellis has taught at Sarah Lawrence College, Case Western Reserve University, and Lesley University.

He earned his MFA from Brown University.
