Our club was formed by four ladies who has a common interest in reading books by African Americans. Our goals: To broaden members personal literary experience by reading quality works by authors of African descent. To be supportive of writing and publishing of literature written by African Americans by purchasing books. To provide an open forum for the exchange of ideas and opinions by hosting monthly book discussions in our homes and networking with other book clubs. To have a time frame for productive discussions by limiting the meetings to one hour and thirty minutes.
