The Inspired Living Book Club s a group of men and women, of varying ages that meets on a monthly basis. We read soul stirring, stimulating, entertaining, and informative literature that does one or both of the following: 1) Inspires and motivates members to develop or deepen a true relationship with Jesus Christ. 2) Inspires the desire to serve our communities, strengthen our families, improve our relationships, and enhance our overall health and well being. From time to time, we may incorporate a wholesome secular book such as The Secret Life of Bees or The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency, but our main focus is to support Christian authors and to read books that glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. ILBC has recently added a community-service focus to our group. By volunteering our time to community-based literacy programs, we desire to assist in battling the literacy problem for adults as well as children. When you visit an ILBC meeting, you will instantly feel the warm friendly and relaxing ambiance that surrounds you. Our meetings are held inside a trendy new dessert bar located on the corner of Delmar and Hamilton called the In Spot Dessert Bar and Lounge. We are accepting new members! Visitors are welcome! Even if you have not read the book of the month, you can still participate in the stress-free experience full of fun, laughter and good food!
