Notes:

We meet the 3rd Friday of each month from February – November primarily at the George Washington Carver Museum. We are a group of Black women reading African America authors. For more information - including a list of the books we’ve read, and we would like to see your list for ideas for our reading.

2017 marks the 25th year for the Folktales’ Black Women’s Literary Society. The October 20th selection, The Supremes Sing the Happy Heartache Blues, will mark our 225th book. We enjoyed Mr. Moore’s debut work The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat in 2013. We are looking forward to this follow-up.
