The Jus' Sistahs Book Club of Dallas meets on the last Friday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the North Dallas area. We meet "Together in the Spirit of Sisterhood" with books being the reason for our gathering as a group and to encourage the writings of authors of African descent. We meet during the months of January through October of each year.
Our book club provides the following benefits:
A casual exchange of thoughts & ideas among Sistahs.
An academic enrichment and thought provoking discussion in a relaxed, loosely structured and fun filled environment.
A friendly forum for discussing important issues.
A motivating factor to read 10 books a year.
A relatively inexpensive hobby.
Plus, reading can be emotionally freeing.
