The Texas Connection is a newly formed chapter of Sistah Girl Reading Club. It was formed when a member of the Miami Connection moved to Texas. With the approval of her fellow sistahs, she formed the Texas Connection in the McKinney, Allen, Plano and surrounding areas. The club consist of women from different professions who share the interest of reading books by African American authors. Our meetings are held monthly usually the 4th Saturday of the Month at 4:00 P.M. The host decides the location and selects the book for the next month's meeting.
