Marcus Book Club from Oakland, CA

The Marcus Book Club is associated with Marcus Book Store, one of the oldest African-American book stores in the country. The Marcus Book Club is dedicated to reading books by and about Black People Everywhere. The book club is open to anyone who has a love of reading, and we actively encourage men to join us. Our membership is very diverse, which is reflected in our taste and choice of books. The book club meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the Marcus Book Store's Oakland location, unless the store is hosting an author event.
