This co-ed book club has members from D.C., Maryland and Virginia and has about 30 members (and growing! "Black Minds" meets regularly for dinner or brunch at a trendy international eatery. We embrace all international cuisine, especially African, Brazilian, Jamaican, and Ethiopian fare. We have a cultural outing once a month (i.e. an opera, a play, a jazz concert, a comedy show, etc.) and we break bread together once a month and discuss the assigned reading.
