We are professional women who meet once a month in a member's home to discuss the book of the month. It's a dinner meeting where the hostess selects the book to be read the following month. In the two months without a hostess assigned, we meet at a local restaurant chosen by the membership. We are totally unimpressed with each other's occupations. We all enjoy reading and each other. We meet the third Tuesday of each month and each of us has said how we almost view that day of the month as sacred. It's a time that we get together and review the book, but as you would imagine, over ten years, we have experienced a lot together. Having done so allows us to view each other almost as sisters and that is how we address each other. Our meetings are great for stress reduction!
