Daphne Definitely Doesn’t Do Sports

Annabelle Louis is a new kid and a nobody at McManus Middle School. Her therapist challenges the ever-skeptical Annabelle to try new things and make new friends to help her cope with her mom’s upcoming military assignment in Afghanistan. Annabelle takes the opportunity to create a secret online vlog, Daphne Doesn’t, where she makes fun of all the things she thinks are a waste of time, and agrees to give sports a try … reluctantly. Undercover as Daphne, Annabelle makes fun of sports like lacrosse (Why does everyone look like they’re chasing butterflies?) and swimming (Poodle hair and wedgies? No thanks!). But when kids around school start viewing and sharing Daphne Doesn’t, Annabelle’s troubles are just beginning!
