Release Me: the Spirits of Greenwood Speak, anthology is the culmination of the synergy between contributions from an eclectic array of poets (including Poet Laureate of the United States, Joy Harjo and Tulsa based educator, activist, and poet Quraysh Ali Lansana), brilliant artists, masterful writers, skillful photographers, sagacious historians, and some talented citizens of Tulsa, OK. The anthology is a transliteration of the voices of the spirits of Greenwood that focuses on the principles that built (and rebuilt) a thriving community.
