Jahi, an international hip-hop artist, DJ, and curator, shares part two of his life experiences on the road with the iconic rap group Public Enemy. Leaving off where part one of The Microphone Journeyman ended, Jahi takes readers on an up-close and personal ride as he toured the world in 2025, sharing lessons, favorite places, and the inner workings of a musician working with a team of seasoned professionals to bring to the stage high-level performances.

From ruminations on the tour bus to post-show reflections, Jahi continues his journey as an MC and artist on his own terms. In addition, Jahi’s new album, Journeyman Rap, is included inside the book for free streaming as the music is the soundtrack for the book. The first single from Journeyman Rap, “Simple Life,” was recorded in Hawaii, with the music video being filmed in Dakar, Senegal.
