About This Event
American participants will include the poet Claudia Rankine, the curator Thelma Golden, the novelist Darryl Pinckney, the artist Kehinde Wiley, the dance historian Jennifer Homans and the director Ryan Coogler (who is directing the film “Black Panther,” based on the Marvel comic whose recent reboot was written by Mr. Coates).
They will be paired with French counterparts including the sociologist and anthropologist Nacira Gu´nif-Souilamas, the author Amin Maalouf and the dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied.
