In a bold new approach to preserving, celebrating, and sharing African American history, Rescuing History Inc., a nonprofit, and Sula Too Publishing announce the launch of the Rescuing History Authors Tour — A Rolling Symposium, a multi-state journey featuring authors, educators, and cultural leaders traveling together to historically significant sites across the Southeast.

The immersive tour transforms a charter bus into a mobile:

  • Learning lab
  • Bookstore
  • Storytelling studio
  • Community gathering space

The initiative takes history directly to the people who lived it and the communities shaped by it.

Southwest Florida Reading Festival

There really is something for all ages to experience at the Southwest Florida Reading Festival. Everyone enjoys the multiple stages with the celebrity authors who share ‘inside scoop’ about their latest books or what makes a story idea click for them. You will be able to buy books and have the authors personalize and sign them too! You’ll find our numerous book and educational vendors offering the latest in services and new ideas. Kids will be mesmerized by the storytellers.
