This multi-day conference brings together Black-owned bookstore owners from across the country for a weekend that honors the legacy of Black literary spaces. Designed to cultivate community, spark professional growth, and create meaningful connections, the agenda blends discussions, presentations, dynamic networking opportunities, and can’t-miss social experiences including the Black Pack Party.

The Festival features both fiction and non-fiction convenes reading, panel discussions, symposia and key speeches. It also provides an opportunity for outlets, author and readers to interact with each other in one of the most vibrant and culturally diverse cities in the world.

The highly anticipated New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University returns to Tulane’s uptown campus, annually, with a three-day, in-person literary celebration featuring more than 100 national, regional and local authors, including some of the nation’s favorite bestsellers. The book festival also hosts its Family Day [Saturday, March 11] on the Berger Family Lawn. The festival is free and open to the public.

Tennesse Williams and New Orleans Literary Festival is a five-day event in New Olreans historic French Quarter that attracts participants from around the world.

The Saints and Sinners Literary Festival was founded in 2003 as a new initiative designed as an innovative way to reach the community with information about HIV/AIDS, particularly disseminating prevention messages via the writers, thinkers and spokes-people of the LGBTQ+ community. It was also formed to bring the LGBTQ+ literary community together to celebrate the literary arts. SASFest is a program of the Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival.
