For the Love of Children, Inc. (TAX ID 65-1101428) is a nonprofit (501)(c)(3) organization established for the purpose of addressing various areas of personal development and awareness among adolescents specifically targeting girls and deviant behavior. With more than a million girls having abortions and equal numbers having babies each year in the United States, FLOC�s mission of offering alternatives that promote productive and positive behavior while building self esteem, instilling strong moral values, promoting healthy interaction with peers and educating about the risks and consequences of making poor relationship choices is needed more than ever.  That�s why we are seeking YOU as a partner.

 

Fund Raising Extravaganza: On December 10, 2006 FLOC will host its annual fund raiser at the Marriott Hotel in West Palm Beach. This event will be an evening of elegance, entertainment and excitement all with a twist of comedy!  Special celebrity guests at this event will include Tommy Ford (Martin Lawrence Show), Omar Tyree (Best Selling Author), Big Baby (BET and Comic View Comedian), Reidel Anthony (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Kenny Gary (CEO of the Willie E. Gary Foundation), Cierra, Friscoe (Radio Celebrity), Eddie Green (4ever  Praise Dance Company) and others. The evening will conclude with an elegant lingerie fashion show featuring the areas sexiest female and MALE models. 

 

PROGRAMS:

Loving Me is a twelve week program designed to educate and enlighten adolescent girls and boys by giving them positive alternatives to the difficult choices they must make as they travel through life. The program topics include Business and Professional Etiquette, Resume Writing & Job Applications, Interview Skills, Job Skills, Maintaining Self-Esteem, Loving Yourself, Academic Excellence, Building Effective Relationships, Healing Emotional Scars, Dealing with Peer Pressure, Personal Hygiene, Physical Appearance and Attire and Substance Abuse. They will learn through interactive exercises, homework assignments and research, lectures and fieldtrips as they literally earn a paycheck/stipend for participating.  This is their JOB and if they�re not performing, they will be fired!  At the end of the twelve week session, our goal is that they have gained invaluable knowledge and reached an awareness that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. 

 

Radio Show:  The radio show will air every Friday from 4-5pm beginning JANUARY 2007. This radio talk show will be an exciting EDUCATIONAL mix of music, poetry and dialogue on various issues that teens face today. 

 

Book Giveaway: Each Month the goal of FLOC is to give away 1,000 books and other informational publications within the community that uplift, enlighten, encourage and motivate young adolescent/teenagers leading them towards making solid and sound life decisions which in turn will help decrease delinquent behavior.  

 

Targeted Counties for 2007:  Indian River, St. Lucie, Palm Beach, Martin, Broward and Dade

 

About the Facilitator/program director: The leading Facilitator and Program Director is award winning author, poet and motivational speaker Annaya. She is a native Floridian currently residing in Palm Beach Gardens. Annaya is a CPA and also has both BS and MBA degrees.  She is a Certified Montessori Instructor and owned/operated a private Montessori School for 5 years. She published the novel Never Too Much: A Journey of Love along with a powerfully inspirational spoken word CD titled: All About the Game and If You Love Me, You Will Do It in Summer 2005. Annaya hosts seminars and workshops throughout the community. She is currently working on her next novel scheduled for release in 2007.
