An Imprint of 45 Alternate Press
Created in 2018, 45 Alternate Press, LLC began as a digital-only imprint that sought to publish upmarket "singles-length" works that catered largely to an African-American readership. The press has since evolved into a full publisher of digital and print works. We publish fiction, poetry, mainly of novella-length (75-125 pages). Our aim is to create books that speak to the "Afro" experience, whether that is Afro Nerd, Afrofuturist, Afro Punk, or Afrosurreal.
