It is not about the color of skin. I'd place Harold Courlander's "The African" in the Top 10 of fiction books. The recent book by Foster, a black female gospel novelist, I'd review it as reactionary and a book to avoid, maybe 20,000 on my fiction list. This fellow may indeed have done well.
