In 2021, I published the first book in the whileBlack Chronicles’ African American Historical Fiction Series, “If Cotton Could Talk”. This month, I will publish book five.

The fictional family was enslaved, survived the KKK during Reconstruction, and joined the great migration to Chicago, where this generation learned it was the same injustice, just a different accent.

In Book five, “If Courage Could Talk,” A great-grandson, Earl, is elected Alderman in Chicago. When he pushes Unions to hire more Blacks, Earl is threatened by a notorious gangster.
When WWII begins, a nephew leaves Chicago for Alabama to qualify as a Tuskegee Airmen. Earl’s son Boyd also joins the war and fights the Military Police in England, who try to enforce segregation.

UNTIL THE LION TELLS THE STORY, THE HUNTER WILL ALWAYS BE THE HERO

I have a free eBook  promotion on am*zon, Aug 11-Aug 12, “If Cotton Could Talk”

The series is described as informative and entertaining!
