Join the Institute of Caribbean Studies for its annual celebration of Caribbean literature at the National Caribbean American Heritage Month Book Festival. At 5:30pm on June 10 at the Portico bookstore in Washington, D.C. five Caribbean authors will read works ranging from poetry, to short fiction, to a novel excerpt.
