Daddy's Little Girl

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone,

This poem is a part of my manuscript, Cracked Glass, Part One: The Whole Damned Family. As sad as it is, I wrote this poem during a time of my life when I needed to be saved. I discovered early via writing in diaries and writing poetry, that the written word has the power to heal. Know that I did not physically kill my daddy. However, I did kill him literary and that was more than enough to save me life. Thanks for reading. I am prayerful that my manuscript will be picked up soon by the right agent (hopefully a black literary agency that appreciates) and that it will help to save a child from the suffering that I had to endure.
