Why Read Mystery Novels

Featured Replies

A Mystery novel is defined as one that deals with a puzzling crime, like murder. The  crime seems impossible to solve. When the novel is written with suspense it is hard to put the book down once one begins. I read mystery novels because I enjoy the thrill of trying to guess who is responsible for the crimes. I also enjoy writing mysteries. I am interested in having my new novel "A Moving Screen" reviewed. It was published July 22, 2016 in paperback and is also available on amazon.com as an e-book. In this novel a homicide detective, believing he's spotted a serial juke;s M.O., teams up with a private eye pal to put a stop to the murders. The ending is extraordinary with a bona fide shock.
