Destini: The Lost Princess

*Destini is a book designed for all ages. Destini tells a story of a 2 parent African American family. As they trace their roots for a class project, it takes them to some unexpected places. Destini and her family encounters some issues and learn some truths that will change their lives forever.*

About me- I wrote Destini after getting pregnant with my daughter, she was my third child, behind 2 boys.  With the lack of representation of our little black girls and boys I decided I couldn't simply be disappointed in what others hadn't done, I'd need to be the one to do something. This story is very personal, as it is based on my family. I've sold 90 copies thus far, and have many great reviews! I hope this story can be the first of many, and become a part of African-American culture. Our girls need to know they too are princesses! Destini, the Black Princess.
