I'm a African American author who is promoting my most recent self-published work, entitled 'The Shearing of Willie McElroy.'  Why?  Because it’s discouraging and makes it difficult to ‘keep at it’ when fewer people read books nowadays.  Why?  Because, I believe this 71 page booklet of short stories and poem contains some of my best work to date!  Why? Because stories like, the ‘N-ga Word,’ ‘Black America,’ and ‘My Momma’ are YOUR stories.
