Biography

Michelle Sumrall was born in Columbus, Georgia, and now resides in Macon, Georgia, with her daughter, Aleisha. She attended the University of Georgia and Columbus State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She continued her education at Troy University, earning a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health. Michelle has spent more than 30 years working in corporate America, primarily in Human Resources.

Michelle is a Certified Life Coach and the Founder, CEO, and Chief Journey Coach of TLC – Total Life Coaching, L.L.C. An avid reader, she understands how deeply people connect with books and the life lessons that can be learned through storytelling. Through stories and life coaching, Michelle connects with individuals at various stages of life’s journey, helping them navigate challenges, achieve their goals, and create greater balance.

Although every journey cannot be addressed through a story, Michelle’s extensive life-coaching and corporate experience includes many hours spent guiding individuals, groups, and families to tap into their inner strength and overcome obstacles.

Michelle is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is also an active parent volunteer in her daughter Aleisha’s activities and has served in related leadership roles.

Michelle is the author of Scattered: A Caregiver’s Journey Through Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia.
