Biography of Talia Whyte

Talia Whyte has been a freelance journalist since 1998. She is the founder and managing director of Global Wire Associates, a digital communications firm. She has authored several books on the social politics of technology, including Access Denied: Dismantling The Digital Caste System In The New Online Economy and Recharge E-waste: Ideas For Reducing Electronic Waste And Greening The Tech World. She also co-authored Digital Activism Decoded: The New Mechanics of Change and Millennium Development Goals Technology Road Map.

In addition to her journalism and writing, Talia Whyte is a bespoke handbag designer (Whyte Indigo) and co-owns a bookstore called Rozzie Bound Co-op in Boston. She serves on the Board of Directors of the American Booksellers Association.
