Biography

Loida Nicolas Lewis is a Filipino-American immigration lawyer, philanthropist, CEO, and civic leader. She is currently [2023] the chairperson and CEO of TLC Beatrice, a holding company for various businesses, including those in real estate, retail, and manufacturing.

She was married to the first Black billion-dollar dealmaker Reginald F. Lewis, Loida describes how she forged her own personal and professional identity as a wife, mother, immigration lawyer, philanthropist, CEO and civic leader in her memoir Why Should Guys Have All the Fun? (Lewis is pictured with AALBC Founder, Troy Johnson in 2021).
