Beautiful Browns

Beautiful Browns is a series of short stories about three African American girls named Eriana, Lexi and Kelsey. At ages seven and eight, they struggle with real world issues. In each story, Author Shontavius Ahmad highlights a challenge that is common among our youth- issues like weight, skin complexion, and hair texture- and shows how love, encouragement and friendship play vital roles in obtaining personal acceptance and self-confidence.
