Notes From the New Chitlin Circuit

Notes From the New Chitlin Circuit is taking contemporary poetry to new extremes. It attacks the political and social structures of American society, while embracing the longevity of the African-American culture. Included are poems that pay homage to past greats such as Malcolm X & Thelonius Monk, to present day heroes such as Muhammad Ali & Haki Madhabuti. He also infuses musical traditons of jazz and blues into his literary trends.
