Free Give-Away Instructions:
1) Write your Name, Address, Age, Sex, & Phone Number on a 3x5 index
card.
2) On the back of the card write an eight-line "response
poem" to the poem titled "MINIMUM SECURITY". This poem is featured
(You may listen to it or read it) on the AALBC poet profile for Adisa Omar. Next, please give an example of
your own job situation and how it reminds you of "living on an air-conditioned
plantation, known as minimum security". Remember, only eight-lines or
less, please!
3) At the bottom of the card write the following: "I hereby release any copyright privileges to the contest entry 'response poem' I have submitted to AKU Press, International. I understand that all entries are for the sole use of AKU Press, International."
4) After writing the above statement, affix your signature below it and mail the entry along with $1.75 (Postage & handling fee, no CASH, please) for your free copy of '60 to '80: Songs for the Black Struggle, by Adisa Omar.
5) This free offer is only good while supplies last. If supplies run-out your $1.75 postage & handling fee will be refunded, or may be applied towards the purchase of the new AKU Press--1999 Calendar based on the poetry of Adisa Omar (Price: $12.95)
