Question, why the need for the internet, in the 1970s, libraries/books + phones meant they could had called, could had contacted someone in the usa. I argue it wasn't technology but money. Yes, just scrolling the internet today is cheaper than making a phone call and setting up a meeting but I don't think it is that large a gap. Yeah, distrusting the stranger is gaining ground in media in the usa/western europe. Is trusting the stranger growing in chinese or indian cinema?
