Hello Folks:
After three years, I had to close my book storefront upstart in South Jersey. While I miss it, I don't regret closing because, at this stage of my life, I could not wait on an upturn in the market... Anyway, I doubled down on my online store with marketing and social media posts. Outcomes are fair, but still nothing to write about at length. At least not yet. I also challenged myself to attend book fairs in 2025 to vend, market my business, and learn more about the used book/antiquarian market. It was a rewarding endeavor, too! I met some great people in the business, and I have some return venues listed for next year. Anyway, I am still putting together my list of intentional shows, fairs and bookings for 2026. So please share similar experiences you've had with vending and what events you recommend.
