Jeh Allen

Hello! My name is Jeh Allen, and I am a Creative Writer whose views and opinions are informed by my reading of seminal texts by prominent authors of all racial hues, as well as my lived experiences. I consider myself a persistent optimist, one who is always holding out hope that humanity’s better angels will prevail. I call the Washington, DC/Metropolitan area home.

I wrote the BLACK Novel Series as a critical literary response to attempts to silence black Progressive voices. When the unenlightened among us try to silence Progressive voices, they limit the populace’s ability to cultivate diversity, equity, inclusion, love, justice and peace. It is my firm belief that we need these things to become a more perfect union, a global village of one.
