About Me

I began my career as a military Intelligence Analyst in the U.S. Air Force and a Trainer/Curriculum Developer in the corporate world. In the last 20 years of my professional career, I worked as a Clinical Hospital/Hospice Chaplain (CPE), mental health counselor (QMHP), healthcare advocate and public speaker. I am passionate about advocating for emotional wellness and fighting the stigma that takes so many young lives in our country.

My latest book is Commanders In Crisis: The Psychological Battles of American Presidents Throughout History. I never expected one of my books would be published in such a critical time as this. I hope everyone who reads this book walks away with a fresh perspective on the emotional struggles of friends, family, leadership in our country, but most importantly ourselves. I believe good information leads to understanding and understanding leads to compassion. https://books2read.com/u/mVLNpP

In my exploration of history, I also published a unique collection of historical short stories entitled,
Crimes, Follies and Misfortunes: First Anthology of Historical Fiction Stories. This anthology is the first in a series and highlights the struggles and achievements of several black historical figures including songbird Dinah Washington, Explorer and Civil War Army Scout Jim Beckwourth, World War II Spy Josephine Baker, and the role of the Black Seminole Indians in Texas. https://books2read.com/u/319KBW
