About the Author
Bever-leigh Banfield has been storytelling all her life—as Cynthia in Roots: The Next Generations, T.C. the Plumber’s Helper in Good Times, and many other TV, film, and theater roles. Maybe you caught her as Lily the forensics wiz in Burke’s Law or a vampire in the Cliffhangers series or Gloria in Major Dad. Or you might’ve watched her on the Days of Our Lives soap opera or seen her in national commercials like McDonald's, Pampers, Yoplait, and Best Buy. And you've probably heard her voice in ABC promos, ads like Chevrolet, FedEx, KFC, and Bank of America, and animations such as The Little Engine That Could, Little Nemo, Scooby Doo, The Smurfs, Batman, The Pound Puppies, and The Flintstone Kids.
Bever-leigh studied writing while earning her B.A. from Stanford and got her master's degree from the Yale University School of Drama before publishing celebrity interviews and winning the American Diabetes Association National Media Award for journalism.
