CONVICT'S CANDY: A GHETTOHEAT PRODUCTION!

JASON POOLE, CO-AUTHOR OF CONVICT'S CANDY: A GHETTOHEAT PRODUCTION!

Has this situation happened in real life?  Sound like either a horrific or very sad story.  I just can't see this situation ending well...

HI TROY! I HOPE ALL IS WELL. YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW THAT EVERYTHING ABOUT GHETTOHEAT IS REAL: EVEN THE "FICTION"..... THERE'S ALWAYS TRUTH IN EVERYTHING I DO, AS WELL AS CREATE AT GHETTOHEAT. THIS IS AN INTERVIEW THAT I DID WITH JASON POOLE WHEN HE WAS IN FEDERAL PRISON. YET THIS ISN'T A STORY THAT HAS A HORRIBLE ENDING, AS JASON POOLE NOT ONLY WAS RELEASED FROM PRISON: HE CONTINUED ON TO PUBLISH OTHER BOOKS, & VENTURE INTO FILM. SO THIS ISN'T ANOTHER TYPICAL TRAGIC STORY, IT'S ONE ABOUT REDEMPTION & TRIUMPH WHILE BEATING THE ODDS! STAY TUNED, MORE TO COME... "GHETTOHEAT!" :0)

GHETTOHEAT® HOTNESS: DAMON “AMIN” MEADOWS & JASON POOLE

DAMON “AMIN” MEADOWS, a native from the streets of South Philadelphia, is the proud father of two beautiful daughters. He co-wrote CONVICT’S CANDY while serving time in federal prison, educating the masses on life behind bars from his own personal perspective; while seriously instilling the importance of HIV/AIDS awareness. In 1993, AMIN was tried and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, being only a first-time offender. Through his faith in Allah, AMIN was successful in the appellant process, and released in 2013.

JASON POOLE was born and raised in Washington, DC and is the proud father of two sons. In 1996, he was incarcerated on a drug violation charge, and received a twenty-one-year illegal sentence, due to an erroneous enhancement. JASON POOLE gained his freedom in 2008.

The two talented writers’ purpose for creating CONVICT'S CANDY was to expose what’s really going on behind the prison walls, in addition to educating readers everywhere, especially those in high-risk urban areas—about HIV transmissions and how the crisis is leading among African-American females.
