aMhayes Posted July 18, 2024 Report Posted July 18, 2024 I write African American Historical Fiction books. Why, one may ask. Because “Until The Lion Tells The Story The Hunter Will Always Be The Hero.” I want my readers to feel like they have been transported to a different era in American history. The whileBlack Chronicles’ stories are about creative, sophisticated families who find a way to prosper “while-Black” regardless of the era or the obstacles. Book four in the whileBlack Chronicles’, “If Chicago Could Talk”, is about the thriving Black Metropolis of Bronzeville. It’s a fast-paced story about big-city segregation, politics, police, and criminals. The Thomas family has a new leader but is he ready? Chicago is not New Orleans. If you like to read you will enjoy this Black washed version of history.
