aka Contrarian Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago ...excerpted from an article about the Golden Globes Awards. "Cynthia Erivo has made Golden Globes history, becoming the first Black woman nominated twice in the lead actress (musical) category. Her second nomination comes for her role in Wicked: For Good, where she stars alongside Ariana Grande. Known for her powerful performances, Erivo’s career continues to break barriers, cementing her place as one of the most talented actors of her generation. The nomination is a significant moment for representation in Hollywood, as it highlights how far Black women have come in the entertainment industry, while underscoring the long road still ahead to ensure diverse voices are truly celebrated."

I don't believe Black women will look at Cynthia Erivo's nomination as win. Jada Pinkett Smith might appreciate it as much as Cynthia does.
aka Contrarian Posted 3 hours ago Author Report Posted 3 hours ago @ProfDNot trying to change anybody's mind. Just thought it was an interesting article. I'm not really a fan of Cynthia's. I hate her bald head. And she is not my tribe. Not descended from slaves. Having said all of that, I still don't agree with jive nigga pioneer's attempt to blemish her.
