Supreme Court upholds birthright citizenship, rejecting T...

The Supreme Court upheld birthright citizenship as is, rejecting President Donald Trump’s order that children born to parents who are in the U.S. illegally or temporarily are not American citizens.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) upheld birthright citizenship.

In a nutshell, children born to foreigners while in the United States of America or its territories are US citizens.

Passport & immigrant babies will continue if/until Congress does something to change the 14th amendment of the US Constitution.

On a side note, those adversely affected by the recent Temporary Protected Status (TPS) judgement can take some comfort in their US-born children being able to stay in the country.😎
