Replacing People With AI Will Not Work!

I seriously doubt that will be the case for the majority of humanity and here's why......

Most of the people who will be put out of work by AI are professional and IT types.
The vast majority had to go to Universities and rack up a lot of debt to GET their credentials in the first place and most of them have student loans and other debts they have to pay back let alone support the lifestyles they and their families are used to living.

The only jobs that will be left for them will be manufacturing and service industry jobs, which leads to 2 immediate problems for them:

1. Most of these jobs DO NOT pay as well or offer as many benefits as their original corporate and IT jobs.

2. Most of these jobs are far more PHYSICALLY DEMANDING than their original corporate and IT jobs.
People used to sitting on their asses all day playing on the computer will NOT adapt so easily to scrubbing hotel toilets and using jackhammers for 10 hours a day 6 days a week just to pay the bills and pay their debts.

I predict there's going to be a lot of frustrated people and the cases of depression, substance abuse, and other mental health issues will skyrocket in the near future as a result of this massive replacement and displacement.
