This infographic is perfectly consistent with my data.  I recently examined which entities published the most popular books read by African Americans.  The top 5 corporations publish 80% of the book we read.

 

50% of what we are aren't even published by American owned corporations.

 

Is it any wonder that African American novelists, get very little coverage in the media?
