15th Day of #BlackHistoryMonth Black Issues Book Review

Featured Replies

Black Issues Book Review was the only large circulation magazine devoted to books written by black authors.

I talk about this magazine often.  William Cox had sold it to the Brother that runs Target Market News, Ken Smikle.  It is curious Ken does not mention this on his website's biography.   At any rate by the time the magazine died, the surge in attention paid to Black books was already in run downswing.

There are some indications that the pendulum is beginning to swing back as there seems to be renewed interest in Black books.

15 days down 351 to go :-)
