32nd Rocky Mountain Book & Paper Fair

Collectors, book lovers and curious people everywhere will have an opportunity to browse among, and purchase fine, rare and valuable books, maps, ephemera, postcards and related materials at the 32nd Rocky Mountain Book & Paper Fair. Exhibitors from across the country will be bringing their treasures for the community of collectors, admirers, and newcomers interested in starting, enhancing, or learning about the fascinating world of rare books and paper.

Basic Facts:

Our schedule is: Friday August 5, 2016 from 2:00 pm through 8:00 pm and Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 10:00 am through 5:00 pm.
The Fair will be held at the Denver Mart, I-25 and 58th Avenue in Denver.
Items available: Rare and hard-to-find books, maps, posters, children’s books, art prints, postcards, photos, historic records, Western Americana. (There some “non-paper” items to be sure, but mostly books and paper.)
We will have two guest speakers. One is Thomas Haller Buchanan, an artist whose presentation is entitled “Beauty and the Book” and will be offering his book of the same name. The other is a presentation by Karen Jones of the Book Arts League who will discuss restoration, repair, and care of fine old books; she will demonstrate actual techniques as well.
