Gotta Story to Tell Book Signing Launch

Featured Replies

Anonymous stated, “Never be ashamed of a scar. It simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you.” This quote embodies the essence of the invisible and visible scars that the authors had to endure in their lives. The authors of “Gotta Story to Tell” believe in rebuilding a positive self-image within yourself, restoring hope for the future and eliminating any toxicity in your life. Therefore, this book signing launch is a chance for 6 professional women to tell their individual stories without regrets.

“Gotta Story to Tell” brought to you by Dr. Jaclyn Walker takes you on a journey of 6 different women that proved to be “stronger than the struggle”. These women have survived stories of abuse, drugs, heartache and even suicide and now stand in triumph. The authors quote Maya Angelou as they describe the process of creating the book. “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” Accordingly, this book is more of a conversation piece that will serve dual roles as a non-fiction literary work and a self-help guide.

The various journeys that you will be mesmerized by will not only inspire but empower you to be stronger than your struggle as well. It will also help you to remember that “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” The authors will discuss their experiences associated with the six concrete themes within the book in an on-going effort to reduce some of the issues that they experienced. The book signing launch will be hosted by Entertainment Entrepreneur/BET’s College Hill graduate, Anya J and there you will also be able to enjoy the melodic sounds of Smoove Steel on the steel drums.
