Hampton University Literary Book Festival 2019

Featured Replies

Greetings!

Hampton University's Harvey Library, along with the Department of English and Foreign Languages, would like to cordially invite you to join us at Hampton University’s inaugural 2019 Literary Festival on April 6, 2019.

This event will give local, regional and national authors the opportunity to display and discuss their works with the larger community.  Our featured speaker will be bestselling author Victoria Christopher Murray.  Her books have been featured on the Essence Bestsellers List and her novel Stand Your Ground won the 2016 NAACP Image Award in Outstanding Literary Work.  There will also be an additional “ask the author” session hosted by Ms. Murray and a panel talk on the business of publishing.  Independent bookstores and book vendors are welcome!  I have included a link with all of the information regarding the festival and how to register below. We look forward to celebrating literature and publishing with you in April!
