Another year has come and gone,
The time of year we make goals for ourselves.
Goals, that we fail to keep, for instance:
Plans to lose weight and not stay up too late,
Save money and spend less, 
Not to make our lives such a mess.

That we will be more loving and peaceable,
And not always feel right.
That we will admit to our wrongs,
And refuse to fuss and fight.
That we won’t fail, but will try,
That we will be truthful and not lie.

Why do fool ourselves into making resolutions?
Because...we are human.

 

Yes we are human … happy enjoy the holidays.
