September 13, 201114 yr comment_4234 I’m a soul food diva You can have your Barbie doll, size one, low fat lifestyle I’m a sista who’s built to last— Fine, beautiful and strong You see, I’m a soul food diva I was raised on… Pork chops, black eyed peas and corn bread That’s why my hips—strong and wide—can give birth to twins I named... Malcolm and Huey I’m a soul food diva I was raised on… Fried chicken, biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy That’s why my thighs—so warm and creamy—can hold any lover in place I make them scream... Hold on! Good God, sweet mother of grace! I’m a soul food diva I was raised on… Sweet potato pie, candied yams and peach cobbler That’s why my ass—big, round and firm, can make heads turn I can stop traffic on any busy Highway Byway Or Say, baby, you going my way? I’m a soul food diva You see, You can have your Barbie doll, size one, low fat lifestyle I’m a sista who’s built to last— Fine, beautiful and strong ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for reading my poetry. I hope you enjoyed it. Peace & Blessings Report
